Steve Paterna
Mt. Shasta, CA

After high school I attended DVC for two years, then got drafted and went to Viet Nam in 1969. After the army I went back to school and graduated from Chico state in 1975, with a teaching credential. I taught High School and Junior College for about three years. I now work in Redding making artificial limbs. I'm hoping to retire this coming year. I have two daughters, aged 28 and 25, with one granddaughter, aged 5. I have lived in Mt. Shasta for the past 25 years, and my hobbies include hunting, fishing, and target shooting. Actually anything outdoors appeals to me.

Ann Nowicki
Maui, HI

Moved to Oregon after graduation and went to the University of Oregon - graduated with a B.A. in Art History. Married and raised two children in Eugene. Worked for many years as an Employment Advisor at a youth & family services agency and Lane Community College. Divorced and remarried Mark Nowicki (and changed name in mid-80's). Mark and I moved to Kihei, Maui, HI in 1999. Have loved living and working in Maui but we'll be seeking new places to explore for retirement at the end of this year (2017). We plan to travel to Mexico, Central and South America. Who knows where we will land. Aloha!

Los Alamos, NM

I graduated from UC Berkeley in Engineering-Physics in 1971. I had to see what life outside of California was like so, after some time in the Navy reserves, I went to the University of Illinois, where I got my PhD in Physics in 1978. Then I got a job doing research in nuclear fusion at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and I'm still there. I got married in 1982 and we have three kids. The oldest will start at UW-Milwaukee next fall. Eight years ago we started spending two months each summer in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and it has become our second home.
