Dennis Hacker Moved back to Reno, NV area in 2009, after being 'downsized' with the JCPenney Catalog Internet Customer Service division.  Had lived in Chicago, Milwaukee and Salt Lake City as a customer service manager with JCPenney for over 28 years.  Graduated from Chico State with a teaching credential in the early 70's and taught elementary school for 6 years, before going into business management with JCPenney at their Reno facility in 1980. Now happily married, living with wife and dog near Verdi, Nevada.     Verdi, NV
Mark Hafner After graduation from CVHS, I attended the California Maritime Academy (in Vallejo) and received a bachelor's degree in Nautical Science and a commission in the U.S. Navy in 1970.  After graduating, I served as a sea-going officer in the U.S. Merchant Marines from 1970 to 1972.  I enrolled as a Master's student a Occidental College in Los Angeles.  In March of 1973 I married Darcey A. Raney, who was attending Humbolt State University at the time. (Darcey graduated from Pleasant Hill High in 1969.)  I graduated with an M.A. in biology in the spring of 1975, and in the fall of 1975, I enrolled in the Ph.D. program in zoology at the University of California, Berkeley.  Our first daughter, Emily (currently pursuing her MBA at LSU), was born in 1975; and our second daughter, Julia (now married and living in the Baton Rouge area), was born in 1978.  I graduated from Berkeley with a Ph.D. in zoology in 1979 and was offered assistant professorships at LSU and the University of Michigan.  I accepted the LSU offer in 1979, and I have been a professor at LSU since.   Note: Mark is now listed as an Emeritus/Retired Faculity at LSU. David Halverstadt I live in Lacey Washington in a retirement community called Jubilee. I am not retired yet but I wanted to be prepared by living here in advance. I am married. I met my wife Joanie at Whitman College in Walla Walla WA. Joanie and I have three children all of whom are adults and are busy in their respective careers. I have worked in Human Resources for the State of Washington for the last 37 years. Currently I am the Chief Human Resources Officer for Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen WA. I am in a van pool so the 110 miles a day round trip doesn't seem so bad. My wife is a Special Services Director for a local school district.  I am 62 and plan to work until 65 when I am retiring. 40  years in the work force is enough!   Lacey, WA

Dave & I got married in '87, second time for both of us. We were reintroduced by mutual friends who thought we were meant for each other. I have 2 kids from a previous marriage, Michelle 28, a manager for Pac Bell & full time student, and Nick 22, a senior at St. Mary's. I am a Regional Property Manager working in affordable senior housing for a nonprofit company. Love the work, could do with fewer hours & less travel. I've been working in property management for the last 18 years. Dave has followed in the family tradition and is a meat cutter for Raleys. His folks had a butcher shop for many years in Concord. We're both looking forward to retirement and being grandparents. Neither is in the near future, but we can always hope!     Concord, CA
