Larry Kanagaki | Original Bio: Sorry I missed our 45th reunion but I just wanted to let you know I am still in Fresno. After high School, I attended UC Davis and majored in Physical Education. Earned my BA in 73. While At Davis, I played football and Wrestled for the Davis Teams. After Davis, I attended San Francisco State and got my secondary credential. I spent 2 years in the Concord area as a substitute teacher. Then in 1977, I got a permanent job in Selma, Ca. teaching math and coaching. During my years in Selma, I earned a MA in Education and PE and an MBA for good measure. Also got my Admin. Cred. but never used it. After 32 years of teaching, I retired in 2009. Now I spend my time officiating HS sports, practicing judo and doing lots of reading. I got married in 1986 and have 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. I hope to see many of you at our 50th reunion. It will be great to catch up. UPDATE 7/12/2020: Things have changed for me since our 50th reunion. First, I went thru a divorce in May of 2017. It was a tough time for me. I guess many of you know what it is like to go thru a divorce. After almost 20 yrs of living in Sanger, I decided to down size, so I moved back into Fresno. |

John Keithly | After school and marriage in Southern California, John and Bonnie moved back north to Walnut Creek. They had three wonderful kids; a boy and two girls. They soon moved to the open space and slower pace of Redwood Valley, in Mendocino County, where John had a small business and Bonnie had three little kids, chickens, ducks, turkeys, a huge veggie garden, dogs, cats etc. It was heaven, for awhile. In 1984, they moved back to civilization, in Monterey County this time. The kids grew up, got their degrees and are all healthy, doing well, and have beautiful families of their own.....8 grandchildren in all. Bonnie is retired from the Business Office at the Monterey County Office of Education. John retired last year from the Department of Corrections, where he was a vocational instructor. We live near Laguna Seca Raceway and are loving this chapter of life. Our days are busy with what we want to do and our schedule is our own. Being grandparents is pure joy. We feel truly blessed. Greetings and very best wishes. | Salinas, CA |
